Student Employability

We recognise students have different support needs as their education progresses; often focussed initially around generating income and not being too selective on the type of work, evolving to finding opportunities to gain specific skills and experience relevant to their discipline or career aspirations.

Relevant paid work experience is the ideal goal, but there are other routes along the way which can make these opportunities easier to secure.

Student Services often have networks of organisations they work with and we can also help through our network of 'pro-student' organisations.

Whilst not every option results in getting paid, and the work itself may not be in your ideal area, use the opportunity to: learn skills you can build on, network with people and build valuable work experience into your CV.
